If you have looked through my Project Portfolio, you might have noticed that I have been involved in graphic design since the 1990s. My initial experiences were with art direction and managing designers while they produced books for Council Oak. I learned a lot from these designers, each of whom had their own distinctive style and quirks. As I communicated my vision for a book, my designers utilized their technical expertise to create that vision.
When I departed from Council Oak, I started doing my own graphic design out of necessity and demand. I have now become proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and I use all of them in conjunction to create brochures, logos, books, and websites, some of which are highlighted on this page.

Student Loan Repayment Pause
Project Involvement
This is a project I worked on during my time at Champion. Our CEO, Mary Lyn Hammer, who has over three decades of experience in the student loan sector, believed that student loan forgiveness alone was not enough to solve the problems faced by borrowers when trying to repay their loans.
To better understand what borrowers really wanted, I created a survey and launched it on our website, ChampionEmpowerment.com. Once we collected enough responses from borrowers, I analyzed the results and wrote an executive-level summary. Using the survey data, I created a full-color brochure highlighting suggestions to improve the system, which was then shared with legislators on Capitol Hill.
I am extremely pleased with the final result!
